Kevin Jennings, one of the nation’s leading gay activists, has been knighted by Obama's to be "Safe Schools" Czar. Kevin Jennings has said he has dreamed of "Promoting Homosexuality" to our Schoolchildren. Ironically, Obama has placed this very dangerous activist, Kevin Jennings to be the Safe Schools Czar and in reality, they placed our kids in the most dangerous situation that any parent could imagine. I do not oppose him on his sexual preference, though I am just as much against the gay lifestyle as gays would be against believing there were only straights.
Gays, just like the rest of us, should be treated in every way equal, and judged by their character and behavior, just like we all should be. Yet, should they be indoctrinating your kids to go against the standards and morals you have taught them since they were born?
Though it is his job as Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools inside the Department of Education, he has a very open and searchable record of promoting the homosexual agenda to your children. ‘That is our mission from this day forward’. It should be our mission to see to it that he is removed as far away from our children as possible.
Read a part of his speech at the “Looking to the Future” panel at GLSEN’s Mid-Atlantic conference, held October 25, 1997 at the Grace Church School in New York City and ask yourself if your child is really safe with this Safety Czar…
Kevin Jennings said:
“Two years ago, one of our board members, one named Ann Simon, was called to testify before Congress when they had hearings on the promotion of homosexuality in schools. And we were busy putting out press releases, and saying, ‘We’re not promoting homosexuality, that’s not what our program’s about. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.’ And my best friend, who’s a straight women who lives in London, e-mailed me…and she said, ‘So what if you are?’ And I thought of how I can get so wrapped up in my own defensiveness, and…the day-to-day struggle, and stuff, that being finished might someday mean that most straight people, when they would hear that someone was promoting homosexuality, would say ‘Yeah, who cares?’ because they wouldn’t necessarily equate homosexuality with something bad that you would not want to promote. And when we were talking there, and Mike said, ‘You know, and I’d like five years from now—right now let’s face it, for large swells of people they think of GLSEN and kids, and they think, ‘GLSEN is bad for kids.’ They do because of their stereotypes and misinformation—I’d like five years from now for most Americans when they hear the word GLSEN to think, ‘Ooh, that’s good for kids.’’
Jennings Continued:
“I’d like you to step back for a second if you can, and I know that many of you here are going to return to meetings on Monday where the euphoria of today will dissipate quite quickly…But if you could just close your eyes for a second. I know this is very Californian. Close your eyes for a second and think, ‘What would the world look like if we were through with our work? If we were done. If we could close the doors on 27th street [GLSEN’s New York City headquarters], and shut down the chapters, and disband the board. What would be happening?”
Jennings Declared:
“…As the son of a Baptist preacher from North Carolina…I can remember a time when having a conference like this, for me, certainly as a teenager, seemed completely impossible. And I would see in certain people’s faces when people would say certain things, or this visioning part, and we’d get little snickers, like, ‘Yeah, [bulls–t].’ This is the only thing that can stop us, is if we believe that our dreams cannot come true.”
“One of the people that’s always inspired me is Harry Hay, who started the first ongoing gay rights groups in America. In 1948, he tried to get people to join the Mattachine Society [the first American homosexual “rights” group]. It took him two years to find one other person who would join. Well, [in] 1993, Harry Hay marched with a million people in Washington, who thought he had a good idea 40 years before. Everybody thought Harry Hay was crazy in 1948, and they knew something about him which he apparently did not—they were right, he was crazy. You are all crazy. We are all crazy. All of us who are thinking this way are crazy, because you know what? Sane people keep the world the same [sh*tty] old way it is now. It’s the people who think, ‘No, I can envision a day when straight people say, ‘So what if you’re promoting homosexuality?’ Or straight kids say, ‘Hey, why don’t you and your boyfriend come over before you go to the prom and try on your tuxes on at my house?’ That if we believe that can happen, we can make it happen.
The only thing that will stop us is our lack of faith that we can make it happen. That is our mission from this day forward. To not lose our faith, to not lose our belief that the world can, indeed, be a different place. And think how much can change in one lifetime if in Harry Hay’s one very short life, he saw change from not even one person willing to join him to a million people willing to travel to Washington to join him. You can see the same changed happen in your lifetime if you believe you can.’’
Jennings has said that he “can envision a day when straight people say, ‘So what if you’re promoting homosexuality,’ or straight kids [will] say [to a male homosexual friend], ‘Hey, why don’t you and your boyfriend come over before you go to prom and try your tuxes on at my house?’ ”
Has that day come for your child? Will you just sit back quietly and let your child’s school tell your child that everything you have taught them is a lie and that is alright for your daughter or son to date someone of the same sex? Obama has quietly placed someone into a powerful office who will transform your child’s thinking and who could destroy their future. Is that OK with you? If so, what kind of parent are you?
"I’d like five years from now for most Americans when they hear the word ‘GLSEN’ to think ‘Ooh, that’s good for kids.’ ” Will you say that? I will not! Kevin Jennings is now in a position to bring his ‘dream’ into reality. The GLSEN conducts regular workshops that discuss ways to change the curricula at schools from kindergarten to high school, sometimes called “Inclusive Kindergarten,” “Inclusive Elementary School Curriculum,” and “Re-envisioning High School Literature.”
The leaders of the GLSEN believe that the only way to win the minds of your children for “homosexual rights,” is to redefine the next generation’s view of homosexuality, and they intend to start as early as kindergarten. According to activist Jaki Williams, kindergarten children are “developing their superego,” and “that’s when the saturation process needs to begin.”
On national television, in front of hundreds of attendees, Jennings once stated that the GLSEN’s mission was to go beyond “teaching of respect for all,” the title of a GLSEN instructional video, to which he responded with a forceful “no.” yet, when the cameras were turned off, he gave the attendees at the GLSEN conference a drastically different idea of their mission. One speaker called the desire for “tolerance” a “condescending campaign for the second-class citizenry.” “I don’t want to be tolerated. I don’t want to be put up with. I want to be ... celebrated,” said Stephen Glassman, a GLSEN chapter board member.
I will not ask if you love your children, because that is a question that goes without asking. Yet, we as parents often get so busy with everyday life that we tend to yield our authority to those charged and trusted with our kids’ education. Now, it is time to take charge again. Your children are being taught
everything that you have probably taught them was wrong. Will you take this seriously or will you look at the following information as passĂ©, radical or even stupid? If we do not standup, speak out, demand to know, expect answers, your children will one day graduate from school with views and concepts that will lead them into a future without hope and with lives that will lead them to ruin. We are looking at a full-frontal assault on the traditions, morals, ideals that built this nation. We are in the midst of the second revolution spearheaded and conducted by Barack Obama’s Culture of Death.

The resignation of Van Jones as President Obama's so-called "green jobs czar" only cuts a small tip off the iceberg. The administration is full of people who hate America -- or at least the America I grew up knowing and loving. These radicals want to transform this country into a socialist and amoral society.
There are plenty more where Van Jones came from, like Kevin Jennings, who is deputy assistant secretary of education in charge of the "safe and drug-free schools" program. Jennings is a homosexual activist. He's the founder and, until recently, the president of the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN), the nation's leading homosexual group. GLSEN works to inject homosexual propaganda into the public schools. Its budget is in the millions and it is the driving force behind the formation of over 4,000 homosexual college campus clubs. Most of them were formed by homosexual faculty members trained by GLSEN.
Jennings will be much more difficult to expel, since the gay lobby is powerful and contributes a lot of money to the Democratic Party and far-left politicians. But do we have to give him our children? Fox did a special on what is in your children's government school textbooks.
Do you know? Do you care? You should. Pull them out while you can. You'll never regret it.
How the homosexual movement got into the Massachusetts schools.
The homosexual movement's lies and deceptions
claiming "safety" and "suicide prevention"

(currently working in the US Department of Education)
bragging about how they tricked the Massachusetts Legislature.
The homosexual movement in the public schools has always been based on lies and deception. But until the mid-1990s, they were still having difficulty getting into the schools. Then they found the key to their huge success -- what they call "re-framing the issue". As a result, they've been able to persuade the Massachusetts Legislature to budget hundreds of thousands of public dollars for programs promoting homosexuality in the public schools. And their "gay-straight alliance" clubs, which started in Massachusetts, now are in hundreds of schools from Maine to San Diego.
The following is from a speech entitled "Winning the Culture War" by Kevin Jennings, who at the time was Executive Director of the "Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network" (GLSEN). It was delivered at the "Human Rights Campaign Fund Leadership Conference" -- a national homosexual activists' event -- on March 5, 1995.
In this landmark speech to the national gay movement, Jennings described how GLSEN and Gov. Weld's "Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth" brought homosexuality programs into Massachusetts schools by purposefully confusing the argument in order to intimidate critics. Since then, it's been used as a model for getting their propaganda into school districts across America. (In the first sentence, note the technique of marginalizing mainstream opposition as "the Radical Right.")
Framing the Issue in Massachusetts
by Kevin Jennings, founder of GLSEN
From a speech entitled
"Winning the Culture War"
presented at the
Human Rights Campaign Fund Leadership Conference
"If the Radical Right can succeed in portraying us as preying on children, we will lose. Their language -- "promoting homosexuality" is one example -- is laced with subtle and not-so- subtle innuendo that we are "after their kids." We must learn from the abortion struggle, where the clever claiming of the term "pro- life" allowed those who opposed abortion on demand to frame the issue to their advantage, to make sure that we do not allow ourselves to be painted into a corner before the debate even begins.
"In Massachusetts the effective reframing of this issue was the key to the success of the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth. We immediately seized upon the opponent's calling card-- safety--and explained how homophobia represents a threat to students' safety by creating a climate where violence, name- calling, health problems, and suicide are common. Titling our report 'Making Schools Safe for Gay and Lesbian Youth,' we automatically threw our opponents onto the defensive and stole their best line of attack. This framing short-circuited their arguments and left them back-pedaling from day one.
"Finding the effective frame for your community is the key to victory. It must be linked to universal values that everyone in the community has in common. In Massachusetts, no one could speak up against our frame and say, 'Why, yes, I do think students should kill themselves': this allowed us to set the terms for debate.
"In Massachusetts, we made creating an environment where youth could speak out our number one priority. We know that, confronted with real-live stories of youth who had suffered from homophobia, our opponents would have to attack people who had already been victimized once, which put them in a bully position from which it would be hard to emerge looking good. More importantly, we made sure these youth met with elected officials so that, the next time these officials had to vote on something, there would be a specific face and story attached to the issue. We wanted them to have an actual kid in mind when they had to cast their votes. We won the final vote in the Senate 33-7 as a result."
Now do you get it? Parents are always astounded when they are told that the gay assemblies, gay-themed plays, gay clubs, secret counseling sessions, gay books, and other school-wide homosexual events are for "safety" and "suicide prevention."
In fact, none of these so-called suicide prevention programs have any legitimate medical or psychological basis. No one with actual credentials to deal with suicide, or even mainstream suicide-prevention groups such as the Samaritans, are ever involved. Yet, they're dealing with vulnerable children.
Upon examination, you see that all of these programs are simply put together by homosexual activists to normalize homosexuality in the minds of as many kids as possible -- and if possible without any parental knowledge or consent.
Why don't our public officials hold these up to the light, like other academic subjects, and objectively examine their content? We've asked that question a lot -- of school officials, teachers, and legislators. And we never get an answer. Actually, we know what the problem is. Too many of our public officials are intimidated by the homosexual movement, and are afraid to challenge them.
So they continue to get hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars from your legislature for their insidious programs in your public schools.
"The Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth was created by Governor William F. Weld on February 10th, 1992, in response to an epidemic of suicide among gay and lesbian youth. On October 7th, 1998, Governor A. Paul Cellucci expanded the powers of the Commission and renewed the executive office’s commitment to combat suicide and violence affecting gay and lesbian youth.
"Many of the difficulties encountered by gay and lesbian youth are within the jurisdiction of state government and can be corrected by the dissemination of information, training, and the implementation of formal guidelines and state policy.
"The Commission works in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Education and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to create school based and community based programs focusing on suicide prevention, violence intervention, and the promotion of zero- tolerance policies regarding harassment and discrimination against gay and lesbian youth."
What to do?
The homosexual movement cannot operate without using lies and deception. When the light of day is shown on their activities in the public schools, and when people are forced to objectively examine them, they are seen for the destructive things they are.
Honestly, do you really
worry about this???
Parents must shine the light of day on these activities and loudly and forcefully demand that public officials get rid of them. But, unfortunately, until this happens, it's the children who are continued to be experimented on and used -- and it's the parents who are eventually left to pick up the pieces.
A final interesting note: In 1995, when the speech referenced above was given, GLSEN was officially known as GLSTN, "Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Teachers Network." This was a more accurate description of the organization, since it is in fact a mostly network of homosexual teachers working to bring homosexuality into schools. But being honest is bad public relations in this case. So soon afterwards, they changed their name to GLSEN - "Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network." Talk about framing the issue!
Department of Education will be ATM machine for gay agenda.
By TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty
As I predicted last year, Kevin Jennings, the former head of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) would eventually become part of the Obama Administration. It’s happened. He is President Obama’s latest Czar—the gay agenda Czar. Jennings has been hired to head up the US Department of Education’s “safe school” program. This drug free/safe schools program will be used as an ATM machine to provide millions of dollars in funds for the promotion of the gay agenda in our nation’s public schools. Jennings has previously used the “safe school” ploy to push the gay agenda and to promote anti-Christian bigotry while he ran GLSEN.
He will use federal tax dollars as a way of silencing criticism of the gay agenda as being “hate speech,” or “homophobia.” (This anti-Christian agenda was carried out during the Clinton years in the “Healing the Hate” curriculum and resources on government web sites.)
While at GLSEN, he promoted “no-name calling” weeks, days of silence, and gay pride celebrations in our nation’s public schools. GLSEN promotes a LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) month in our nation’s public schools, too.
Jennings is a hypocrite when he pushes “no-name calling” events in schools. He uses name-calling and vilification of his opponents whenever he’s speaking to a gay audience.
GLSEN’s motto is “Teaching Respect For All,” but Jennings doesn’t follow his own advice. In a GLSEN conference in November, 1997, Jennings attacked TVC Chairman Louis P. Sheldon. He told the audience: “I don’t have to like Lou Sheldon. I don’t have to like or respect Lou Sheldon.”
This hypocrite is now running a multi-million dollar operation out of the Department of Education! At this same GLSEN conference, Jennings told his fellow gay teachers that they must teach kids to accept homosexuality “before the children have a chance to be prejudiced by their parents and churches.” What he calls prejudice, we call biblical morality and decency.
He admits that he wants gay teachers to violate the moral values of parents and of church teachings on the evils of gay sex acts!
Read what else Jennings has said about conservative Christians: Twenty percent of people are hard-core fair-minded [pro-homosexual] people. Twenty percent are hard-core [anti-homosexual] bigots. We need to ignore the hard-core bigots, get more of the hard-core fair-minded people to speak up, and we’ll pull that 60 percent [of people in the middle] over to our side. That’s really what I think our strategy has to be. We have to quit being afraid of the religious right. We also have to quit — I’m trying to find a way to say this. I’m trying not to say, ‘[F—] ‘em!’ which is what I want to say, because I don’t care what they think! [audience laughter] Drop dead!” — Jennings speech to Marble Collegiate Church, March 20, 2000.
Jennings also wrote the foreword to Queering Elementary Education which advocated using gay literature and essays in reading, writing, and talking. Obama friend and unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers wrote a glowing endorsement on the back cover of this book.
In his 1994 book, One Teacher In 10, Jennings admits that he “did not report sexual victimization of a student to the proper authorities” when he worked as a school teacher in Concord, Massachusetts. Jennings describes the advice he gave in 1988 to a sophomore student named Brewster who confided to him his gay involvement with an older man he had met in Boston. Child protection laws in Massachusetts require a teacher to notify child welfare authorities within 48 hours if a child under 18 is suffering sexual abuse. (“NEA Groups Protest Award To Gay Studies Activist,” Washington Times, July 3, 2004)
Thanks to President Obama, Czar Jennings now has millions of our tax dollars at his disposal to promote the gay agenda and to put policies in place penalizing any criticism of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) activities in our nation’s public schools.
We will be reporting more on Kevin Jennings and his gay agenda in the weeks ahead.
